Egypt Nile river cruise 5 days and 4 nights

Upon arrival at Luxor airport or station, you will be welcomed and transferred to your Nile Cruise by a private A/C van.

Embarkation is before 12:00 PM.

In the afternoon, explore the East Bank of Luxor starting with the Karnak Temple Complex, the largest structures ever built in human history.

The principal building is dedicated to God Amun, the main god of Thebes.

Parts of the complex date back to the Middle Kingdom, with some references to the 3rd Dynasty.

Next, visit the Temple of Luxor, built by a king of the 12th Dynasty and completed by Ramses II.

This temple, at the heart of ancient Thebes, was also dedicated to God Amun Re.

After the tour, return to your ship to rest and refresh. In the evening, enjoy an Egyptian folkloric show on board.

Afterward, begin your magical journey through ancient Thebes, the sacred land of the pharaohs, by exploring the West Bank of Luxor.

Visit the Valley of the Kings, the royal cemetery of Egypt’s ancient kings and the hidden burial site chosen after the looting of the great pyramids.

You will explore three tombs (extra tombs available for an additional charge).

Next, visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari, one of the most remarkable examples of ancient Egyptian architecture, entirely carved into the mountainside and built by one of the most powerful queens of the New Kingdom.

End the tour with a stop at the Colossi of Memnon, the massive statues of King Amenhotep III. Return to your cruise for lunch, followed by an afternoon at leisure.

Breakfast on board your luxury Nile cruise. Then your tour guide will take you on a mysterious journey to the land of the Pharaohs.

This guided tour of today begins by visiting one of the most wonderful temples in Egypt, the Temple of God Horus in Edfu by Stagecoach , which is one of the most well-preserved temples in Egypt. After that, you will revert to your ship.

Lunch will be served on board during the sailing to the city of Kom Ombo.

Afternoon, you will proceed to explore the Temple of Kom Ombo, where the two Gods Sobek & Haroeris were worshipped for a while. Get back to your ship and enjoy your lunch.

Enjoy the sun deck, watching the unique landscape of the mighty River Nile. On its banks, the ancient Egyptian civilization has created and flourished.

Dinner meals will be served on board during the sailing to the city of Aswan.

Late evening arrives at Aswan and overnight.

Breakfast will be served on board your Nile cruise. Later, join your Egyptologist guide to explore the great city of Aswan, including the High Dam, built in 1960 AD to protect Egypt from the Nile floods.

Afterward, enjoy a motorboat ride on the Nile to Agilika Island and visit the Temple of Philae, constructed during the Greco-Roman period and dedicated to the Goddess Isis, mother of God Horus.

Return to your ship for a delicious lunch on board. In the afternoon, transfer to a traditional Felucca sailboat to cruise along the Nile, enjoying the scenic beauty and exploring the Aswan region (subject to weather conditions).
