Last updated: August 2026  |  Governing law: Arab Republic of Egypt

1. Contract Formation

A binding contract is established between the client and Pure Nile Tours upon receipt of the agreed deposit and the issuance of a written booking confirmation or invoice.

Written confirmation sent by email, invoice, or another official communication channel shall constitute valid confirmation of the booking and the services included.

The client is responsible for reviewing all names, dates, services, accommodation details, and itinerary information shown in the confirmation and notifying Pure Nile Tours promptly of any errors.

2. Payment Policy

A deposit is required to secure all reservations. The deposit amount and payment deadline will be stated in the quotation, invoice, or booking confirmation.

The remaining balance must be paid before arrival or upon arrival, according to the payment schedule confirmed in writing at the time of booking.

Payments may be accepted by bank transfer, credit or debit card, approved online payment gateway, or cash where available. Credit card payments and payment gateway transactions may be subject to additional processing charges.

The client is responsible for bank transfer fees, intermediary bank charges, currency conversion charges, credit card processing fees, and payment gateway fees unless otherwise confirmed in writing.

Pure Nile Tours reserves the right to cancel unconfirmed services where the required deposit or balance is not received by the agreed payment deadline.

  • Bank transfer fees, credit card processing fees, payment gateway charges, currency conversion charges, and any other non-refundable third-party fees are non-refundable.
  • Certain hotels, Nile cruises, domestic flights, special-event bookings, including eclipse tours, and promotional or special-rate offers may be subject to separate or stricter cancellation conditions.
  • Any supplier-specific cancellation terms will be communicated and confirmed at the time of booking.
  • Where a refund is applicable, it will be processed using the original payment method, less any applicable cancellation charges and non-refundable fees.
  • Refund processing times may vary depending on the issuing bank, payment gateway, card provider, or other financial institution.

4. Amendments by the Client

Requests to change a confirmed booking must be submitted in writing.

Pure Nile Tours will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requested changes. However, all amendments are subject to availability, supplier approval, and any additional costs or cancellation charges imposed by the relevant service provider.

Changes to travel dates, passenger names, hotels, Nile cruises, domestic flights, room categories, or itinerary services may be treated as a cancellation and new booking where suppliers do not permit amendments.

5. Amendments by Pure Nile Tours

Pure Nile Tours reserves the right to make reasonable changes to an itinerary where necessary due to operational requirements, weather conditions, supplier changes, government restrictions, safety considerations, or circumstances beyond our control.

Minor changes may include adjustments to departure times, the sequence of visits, transportation arrangements, or the substitution of accommodation, cruises, guides, or services with suitable alternatives of a similar standard.

Where a significant change is required before departure, the client will be informed as soon as reasonably possible and offered an appropriate alternative where available.

6. Prices and Pricing Policy

All prices are quoted in United States Dollars (USD) on a per-person basis for the complete itinerary unless otherwise stated.

The quoted price includes only the services specifically listed under the “Included” section of the relevant tour, cruise, or travel package. Optional activities, additional services, and items listed under “Excluded” are not included.

Pure Nile Tours is committed to transparent pricing. Any mandatory supplements, additional services, or applicable payment processing charges will be communicated before the booking is confirmed.

Prices are calculated according to the supplier rates, taxes, government fees, exchange rates, and operating costs available when the quotation is issued.

Before booking confirmation, prices may be adjusted due to significant currency fluctuations, changes in government taxes, entrance fees, fuel costs, domestic flight prices, or supplier rate increases beyond the reasonable control of Pure Nile Tours.

Once the booking has been confirmed and the required deposit has been received, the confirmed price will not normally change unless the client requests an amendment or a new mandatory government tax, fee, or charge is introduced.

7. Holiday Periods and Seasonal Supplements

Unless expressly stated otherwise in the quotation or booking confirmation, quoted rates are not valid during Christmas, New Year, and Easter holiday periods.

Seasonal supplements will apply to bookings during these peak travel dates. The amount of the supplement may vary depending on the selected hotels, Nile cruises, domestic flights, transportation services, room categories, and availability.

Important: Due to exceptionally high demand and limited availability during peak holiday periods, we strongly recommend booking as early as possible. Please contact Pure Nile Tours for the latest rates, availability, and to secure your reservation.

A reservation is not guaranteed until the required payment has been received and written booking confirmation has been issued by Pure Nile Tours.

8. Children Policy

The following children policy applies unless different terms are specified by a particular hotel, Nile cruise, airline, or travel service provider:

  • Children under 6 years old: May be accommodated free of charge when sharing their parents’ cabin or room and using the existing bedding. Where available, an extra bed may be provided for an additional charge of USD 100 per night.
  • Children from 6 to 11.99 years old: When sharing their parents’ cabin or room, the child will be charged 50% of the adult rate. A maximum of one child may receive this discounted rate per cabin or room.
  • Children aged 12 years and over: Will be charged the full adult fare.
  • One child from 5 to 11.99 years old sharing with one adult: Where one child is accommodated with only one adult, the cabin or room will be charged at the applicable double-occupancy rate.

A child’s age will be calculated according to their age on the travel commencement date. Pure Nile Tours may request a passport copy or other official identification to verify eligibility for a child rate.

Hotels, Nile cruises, airlines, and other third-party suppliers may apply different children policies. Any applicable supplier-specific terms will be communicated before booking confirmation.

9. Force Majeure

Pure Nile Tours shall not be held responsible for any failure, cancellation, alteration, interruption, loss, or delay caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

Such circumstances may include natural disasters, severe weather, acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, political instability, epidemics, pandemics, government restrictions, border closures, strikes, transportation disruption, flight cancellations, or supplier failure caused by an extraordinary event.

Where possible, Pure Nile Tours will provide reasonable assistance and attempt to arrange suitable alternatives. Any additional costs arising from a force majeure event will be the responsibility of the client unless otherwise agreed or recoverable from the relevant supplier.

10. Liability Disclaimer

Pure Nile Tours arranges travel services provided by independent suppliers, including hotels, airlines, Nile cruise operators, transportation companies, guides, restaurants, and activity providers.

While we carefully select our suppliers, they remain responsible for the proper performance of the services they provide. Pure Nile Tours shall not be held responsible for injury, loss, damage, delay, cancellation, inconvenience, or irregularity directly caused by the acts, omissions, negligence, or operational failure of an independent third-party provider.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable Egyptian law.

Where liability is legally established, it shall be limited, to the extent permitted by law, to the amount paid for the specific affected service.

11. Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended for all clients.

The insurance policy should provide appropriate coverage for trip cancellation, medical expenses, emergency treatment, personal injury, repatriation, travel disruption, missed departures, loss or damage to luggage, and personal liability.

Note: Pure Nile Tours does not provide travel insurance. Clients are responsible for arranging suitable insurance coverage before departure and for ensuring that their policy covers all planned activities.

12. Health, Passport and Entry Requirements

Clients are responsible for ensuring that they meet all passport, visa, immigration, vaccination, health, customs, and entry requirements applicable to their nationality and travel arrangements.

Passports must remain valid for the period required by the relevant Egyptian authorities and any airline or transit country.

Pure Nile Tours accepts no responsibility for any client who is refused entry, denied boarding, delayed, fined, or unable to travel because of incomplete, expired, or incorrect travel documents or failure to comply with official requirements.

13. Complaints and Claims

Any problem or complaint arising during the trip should be reported immediately to the relevant guide, representative, supplier, or Pure Nile Tours contact so that reasonable efforts can be made to resolve the issue promptly.

Where the matter is not resolved during the trip, a formal complaint must be submitted in writing within 14 days after completion of the affected services.

The complaint should include the booking reference, travel dates, a detailed description of the issue, and any relevant supporting documents, photographs, receipts, or correspondence.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions and any booking contract between the client and Pure Nile Tours shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

The parties agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute through good-faith negotiation. Where appropriate, the parties may also agree to mediation before initiating legal proceedings.

Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
